Set along the shores of Msambweni on Kenya's South Coast, Zahari Oceanfront is an intimate 19 room beach boutique hotel created for guests who value space, privacy and a slower pace. Here, white sandy shores, uninterrupted ocean views and warm African hospitality come together in a quieter coastal setting away from the bustle of the larger resort areas.
Zahari was created to complement its surroundings rather than compete with them — allowing the ocean, landscape and natural rhythm of the coast to remain part of the experience.
Designed with a Sense of Place
Throughout Zahari, natural materials, warm tones and considered details reflect the character of the coast. Mvule wood features throughout the property bring warmth and texture to the spaces, while two mature baobab trees at the heart of the property form part of Zahari's landscape and identity.
The result is intentionally understated: spaces that feel comfortable, considered and connected to their surroundings.
